About Josie

Over the years, my work has taken me to remote rural villages, Ivy League classrooms and tech startups. In each of these contexts I’ve become increasingly captivated by the question, “What enables humans to flourish?”

In no context has this question been more important than within the walls of my own home. Raising a family can be messy and complicated, but I believe it’s the most important human endeavour—it warrants our best thinking and our most open hearts.

My PhD training (Cornell University, Adult Education) gave me a healthy appreciation for the importance of scientific rigor when it comes to choosing strategies for change. I’ve spent years consolidating the best research on human flourishing into simple, evidence-backed frameworks and tools designed to help families thrive.
